I am a relational therapist in the sense that I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most fundamental parts of the process of therapy and healing. I believe that you are the expert of your life and I am here to listen, pose questions, provide new perspectives, introduce effective strategies, and help you navigate the challenges you're experiencing along your journey.

I believe that challenges, struggles, and even pain can be doorways into new layers of ourselves and often carry messages within them. My work with my clients is rooted in curiosity and compassion & I truly believe that we each have a wisdom and strength within us that can help us through even the toughest times. My job is to help guide you to that place.

I believe that the purpose of therapy is multi-layered. Therapy is a container to feel safe, seen, and heard. It's a container to explore your inner and outer experiences. It's a place of healing through understanding and meaning making. It's a place where we can give space to any discomfort that arises and explore the different ways of relating to that discomfort, whatever it may be. It's where we explore and learn new strategies and ways of navigating the complexity of being a human in this ever changing world. Therapy gives us room to shed layers, rediscover old versions of yourself, overcome challenges, and ultimately feel more empowered and connecting to yourself and the world around you.
